Dem Senator Claims He’s Kicking the Ass of His Former Navy Seal Rep

Dem Senator Notes He’s ‘Kicking Rep Senator’s Ass’

Sen. Jon Tester, a Democrat from Montana, refuted the commonly accepted belief that the state’s Senate race is very tight by claiming he was outperforming his Republican opponent in Montana in campaign data.

The Democratic senator from Montana said, “I’m kicking his ass,” on Fox News Digital on Thursday, referring to Tim Sheehy, the Republican senator from the former Navy SEAL.

When inquired about the extent of his victory over Sheehy, Tester responded, “That’s not for you to know.” When asked about his choice to forego a crucial meeting with President Biden’s senior campaign strategists, Tester pushed back, saying, “My race isn’t in a precarious place,” considering how competitive the senator’s reelection is.

As worries about the president’s route to victory in November grow, Tester was one of a few senators who did not show up for a meeting on Thursday at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) with senior Biden advisers Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti, as well as campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon. His staff informed Fox News Digital that he had a “scheduling conflict” and could not attend, but they did not elaborate.

When questioned specifically about his absence from the DSCC meeting on Thursday, Tester stated that he had to speak with Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense business, regarding the “Sentinel project,” most likely in reference to the company’s involvement in the LGM-35A Sentinel weapon system used by the U.S. Air Force. According to the company’s website, the weapons system is “a critical modernization of the ground leg of the U.S. nuclear triad, the bedrock of U.S. national security.”

In response to a query regarding his worries regarding the tough nature of his Senate race, the senator from Montana stated, “I’m worried about making sure that this nation is secured.” Clearly, I’m concerned about it.”The only assholes getting kicked this week are Joe Biden’s and Jon Tester’s who continue to support the president and think he’s ‘100% with it,'” a Sheehy spokeswoman said in response to Tester’s assertion on Fox News Digital.

The Cook Political Report, an unbiased political handicapper, has rated the Montana election as a “Toss Up,” along with the Senate contests in Nevada, Ohio, and Michigan.
