Large Media Outlet Says There’s Still Time to Turn Things Around for BIDEN?
Biden Can Still TURN IT AROUND?
Democrat strategists tell Fox News Digital that despite the disastrous two weeks following the first presidential debate, President Joe Biden still has time to turn around his campaign and avoid being removed as the nominee.
Following his performance in the first presidential debate, Biden is receiving more calls to withdraw as the Democratic nominee; yet, analysts with experience in presidential elections argue that his chances of winning reelection have not been permanently harmed.
When asked about the status of Biden’s campaign, Democratic strategist Mark Penn told Fox News Digital, “The president has been clear — he’s the elected nominee, and he is not budging from that position unless god himself intervenes.” Penn went on to say “net-net Biden is now the underdog, but this race is far from over.”
Political consultant Jessica Tarlov, a Democratic contributor to Fox News, added that Biden has plenty of time to improve his campaign before November. Is there sufficient time? Naturally. In politics, four months is a lifetime. It’s all about Trump in this election. People who will back him and those who won’t. Despite all of the president’s problems, Trump is still extremely divisive and unpopular, Tarlov said. I’m not suggesting Biden needs to make up ground. “Whatever happens, Democrats have to come together against the common cause of defeating Trump,” she stated to Fox Digital. “And if they do, they can 100% win.” Although Biden has repeatedly declared that he will not be withdrawing as the contender, he is nonetheless under pressure from members of his own party to think about withdrawing from the 2024 contest.
Another Democratic strategist claims that Biden’s comeback is typical of political comebacks, marked by a number of tactical tweaks, a reinvigorated sense of purpose, and a strong mobilization of party and public support. In the history of American politics, political comebacks are a well-researched phenomenon that frequently demonstrates a leader’s tenacity and flexibility in the face of adversity.
This strategist notes that Biden’s comeback is consistent with previous political figures who have triumphantly recovered from difficult times. The capacity to rectify prior errors, change the story, and capitalize on the advantages of the incumbent’s platform are essential to this process. This meant confronting the most urgent problems head-on for Biden, including the economic difficulties brought on by inflation, controlling the COVID-19 pandemic’s residual effects, and using a stronger hand when handling global crises.
Comebacks abound in politics, but they all had to run to compete with Witt. President Biden is capable of making a lot of comebacks, and strategist Ted Trimpa told Fox that if anyone can it’s him.
