Biden’s Hosting NATO and They Have a Few Questions After His Last DISASTEROUS DEBATE

Biden’s NATO NEWS

In his first solo news conference since his disastrous debate last month, President Biden is scheduled to speak to the media late on Thursday afternoon. It is expected that he will be questioned extensively as the country assesses his mental clarity in light of growing health concerns.

The press conference is scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 p.m., following Biden’s hosting of NATO leaders in Washington, D.C., earlier this week. At the press conference, which the media has called a “big boy press conference,” the president answered questions by himself. This is Biden’s first individual press conference of the year and his first media appearance since his June 27 debate with former President Trump, according to Fox News.

After a dismal debate performance, which raised serious questions about Biden’s health and put the Democratic Party on notice, there are now fears that the 81-year-old president’s deteriorating mental capacity may hurt the party when the Biden campaign takes on Trump.

Since the debate, at least nine elected Democrats have urged Biden to withdraw, and a minimum of twenty-three Democrats—among them former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Representatives Adam Schiff, and Jamie Raskin—have voiced apprehension regarding the candidate’s demeanor and efforts to win reelection. Despite growing worries and calls for him to withdraw and allow another contender to challenge Trump, Biden has vowed to stay in the race.

“Many people have been speculating about what Joe would do. Will he continue competing in the race? Will he leave school? How is he going to respond?” stated on Friday during an address in Madison, Wisconsin. “Well, here’s my answer: I am running and going to win again.”

Pelosi fueled the chaos inside the party on Wednesday by implying in an interview that Biden should reevaluate his pledge to stay in the race. “It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run,” she stated. “We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short.”

“That’s the way it is; I want him to do whatever he chooses. We follow his decision, she continued.

During the interview, Pelosi stated that she and other Democrats are waiting to see how Biden’s week goes. It is possible that she advised other Democrats to hold off on publicly discussing their opinions of Biden until the end of the week.

“Let’s just wait,” she murmured. “Whatever you’re thinking, either tell somebody privately, but you don’t have to put that out on the table until we see how we go this week.”

Despite his terrible debate performance and other embarrassing moments during public engagements in recent months, Biden gave a powerful speech to NATO on Tuesday afternoon. However, notable allies have not praised the speech much.

Social media outlets with a liberal slant praised the president, claiming that his address was “strong” and “classic.” But the majority of well-known Democrats chose not to comment on the address openly. Sen. Mark Warner, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and the White House were contacted by Fox News Digital regarding their opinions on the speech’s success, but they did not respond.
