Carville Makes SHOCKING Comments About Republicans

Democratic strategist James Carville commented during a Thursday podcast that Republicans primarily portray themselves as supporters of Israel because they perceive Jews as being more white than Palestinians.

According to a 2022 report by the Pew Research Center, over 70% of Republicans and those who lean Republican hold a favorable view of Israel, compared to only 44% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents.

On the “Politics War Room” podcast, Carville attributed this stance to “racism,” explaining that it influences how Republicans view Israelis and Palestinians.

His remarks were in response to a listener’s question about the Republican Party’s apparent contradiction in supporting Israel while allegedly embracing “neo-Nazis.”

“It’s really about the misogyny and the racism that drives the thing, and we got to recognize that. It’s not about any policy prescription. And the reason I suspect that most of these people describe themselves as pro-Israel is because the Jews are whiter than the Palestinians, which I think drives a lot of what they are,” Carville said.

Carville also expressed his criticism of anti-Israel protesters, pointing out that they tend to target Democrats rather than Republicans.

“My favorite comment to come out of this movement or these protests … I’m troubled by some of this stuff … I’m not remotely Palestinian,” he said. “But they asked them, ‘Trump is even more radical or anti-Palestine than whatever you think that President Biden or Vice President Harris is, why don’t you protest him?’ They said, ‘Because we wouldn’t have any influence with them.’ So, the reason that they say, ‘We targeting Democrats ’cause, well, we think they would be more open-minded about this, but we’re not going to do anything to the Republicans because we’re not gonna have any influence.’ Well, that’s just some dumbass political shit, all right? So, are you going to hurt the person that actually has the best chance of resolving this issue in a satisfactory way because you can’t influence the other person? I don’t get the logic. I don’t get the logic at all. I just don’t.”

Carville expressed his frustration on Wednesday when discussing former President Donald Trump’s rhetoric, stating his belief that the former president and Republicans rely heavily on bigotry as their main message.

“What really gets to me, you hear this all the time, you know, ‘Trump doesn’t understand … if he just moderated … and wouldn’t say this crazy stuff,’ you don’t understand. That’s his appeal,” he said. “Without the racism and the misogyny, he has nothing! And he knows that. And he’s not going to listen to the campaign advisors that tell him to act sane or act normal or talk about pivoting to the middle, to talk about talking about the issues, because that’s not what the Republican Party is.”
