Donald Trump May Not Have Been Struck by an Actual Bullet
FBI Director Asserts SHRAPNEL Hit TRUMP
The FBI director shockingly said on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump might have been hurt by shrapnel rather than a bullet during the insane shooter’s attempt to murder him at a campaign rally.
In a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee, FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that it was unclear exactly what caused Trump’s ear damage during the shooting.
An answer to a query from Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Wray stated, “There’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.”
Jordan had inquired about the eight shots fired on July 13 at the disastrous Pennsylvania event by the would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Jordan started, “We obviously know that Mr. Comperatore lost his life, two other rally attendees were hurt, and then the one that hit President Trump. But where did all eight bullets go?” Jordan then questioned.
The startling claim was denounced on Thursday by Trump’s team as “conspiracy bulls–t.”
“Anyone who believes this conspiracy bulls–t is either mentally deficient or willfully peddling falsehoods for political reasons,” Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told The Post.
“We have seen there is no depth low enough for the Biden-Harris Administration. So it’s not surprising they are doing this now,” he added.
The Republican candidate’s account of the near-death encounter, which he characterized as a “very surreal experience” that was “supposed” to leave him dead, is at odds with the FBI director’s remarks.
One day after the shooting at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump stated in an interview with The Post, “The doctor at the hospital said he never saw anything like this, he called it a miracle.”
“I should be dead; I’m not supposed to be here.”
Additionally, Trump recounted that Secret Service officials escorted him out of the tumultuous scene even though he wanted to carry on with his address. “I just wanted to keep speaking, but I just got shot,” he said.
Not even a second after Crooks fired the eight rounds into the crowd did Secret Service snipers shoot him dead.
The 78-year-old president also launched an assault on Wray on Truth Social on Wednesday, charging the director of the FBI—whom he hired in 2017—of “sweet talking” the committee about his worries over President Biden’s seeming mental decline.
“I watched the Congressional Hearing today as Christopher Wray was asked the question whether or not he noticed any cognitive degeneration in his many conversations with Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump fired off.
Trump insisted, “Director Wray should resign from the FBI immediately if that is the case. Anybody can see that Joe Biden is cognitively and physically challenged, and if you can’t see that, you sure as hell can’t be running the FBI,” asserted the former president.
Several Republicans have accused the Biden administration, including Vice President Kamala Harris, of a cover-up to hide the president’s decline.
