Kylie Kelce recently shared the inside story of how she discovered her brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift during her appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with Alex Cooper.

When questioned about how the family learned of the high-profile relationship, Kylie revealed that there wasn’t a formal family announcement. While she and her husband Jason Kelce were among the first to know about the budding romance, the news didn’t warrant a family group chat discussion.

The mother of four disclosed that she and Jason became aware of the relationship before Swift’s notable first appearance at the Chiefs vs. Bears game in September 2023, which effectively made the couple’s relationship public.

Addressing widespread speculation about her first meeting with Swift, which occurred at the Chiefs-Bills game in January 2024, Kylie dismissed rumors of intentional avoidance between them. She explained that such delayed meetings weren’t unusual, drawing a parallel to her own relationship timeline with Jason, noting that she hadn’t met Travis until nearly a year into dating his brother.

Kylie expressed her understanding of Swift’s busy schedule, particularly referencing the singer’s recently concluded sold-out Eras tour, and found the media’s fixation on their meeting timeline amusing.

The conversation also touched on the couples’ social interactions, with Kylie sharing details about an intimate dinner gathering. Though pregnant at the time, preventing her from sampling Swift’s cooking, she revealed an unexpected connection with the pop star – their shared childhood vacation destinations along the Jersey Shore.

“Her family was like Sea Isle and Stone Harbor,” Kylie revealed. “And that’s the exact areas that I grew up going to.”

The interview provided a candid glimpse into the family’s dynamic with Swift, dispelling rumors and highlighting the natural progression of their relationship integration.
