Prince Harry has declared that he and Meghan Markle have discovered their permanent residence in America, with no intentions of returning to live in Britain in the near future.

After stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, the couple relocated to Montecito via Canada, where they quickly adapted to the luxurious lifestyle among the area’s elite residents.

Speaking at the New York Times Dealbook Summit, Harry expressed his contentment with American life alongside Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet. According to Metro, when questioned about permanent residency in America, he confirmed his commitment, noting this lifestyle aligns with what his mother had envisioned for him.

The Duke highlighted the enhanced privacy his family enjoys in America, mentioning they can participate in activities that would be challenging in the UK due to security issues. He described his previous royal life as feeling confined within a restrictive environment that affected his psychological well-being.

Currently, Harry emphasizes his commitment to excelling in his roles as a husband and father. While he has dismissed returning to royal duties, he maintains his royal title and his position as fifth in line to King Charles III’s throne.

When Anderson Cooper previously questioned him about surrendering his ducal titles during a CBS interview, Harry responded, “And what difference would that make?”

However, Harry’s American residency faces challenges. The Heritage Foundation is contesting the Department of Homeland Security’s visa approval, citing concerns about his admitted drug use in “Spare.” The organization argues that Harry either provided false information on his application or received preferential treatment, as drug use typically disqualifies visa applicants.
