Tulsi Gabbard Defends JD Vance Against Kamala Harris
Tulsi Gabbard FIRES BACK at Kamala Harris
After former President Donald Trump announced that Senator JD Vance (R-OH) will be his running mate in 2024, Democrats immediately intensified their attacks on Vance. However, a former Democrat has come out in support of Vance.
Vice President Kamala Harris criticized Vance, and former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who quit the Democratic Party just before the 2022 midterm elections, retaliated immediately.
After quoting Harris, who had stated that Vance would “be loyal only to Trump, not to our country,” Gabbard explained why she thought Harris was mistaken.
“After 9/11, @JDVance1 joined the Marine Corps, and the same year I was there at the height of the conflict, he was deployed to Iraq. In order to serve our nation, he risked his life,” Gabbard wrote as the description for the video she shared with X. Was Kamala Harris prepared to give her life in defense of her nation? Naturally, no. Kamala reveals her hypocrisy once more.
In the video that is linked, Gabbard declared, “The audacity that she has to say this is off the charts.” “She’s talking about JD Vance, who joined the Marine Corps following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.”
She went on, “Kamala Harris is motivated by her own political ambition.” “She is a self-serving politician who has no business being in government.”
During the 2020 Democratic primary, Gabbard gained widespread notoriety by criticizing Harris’ track record as a criminal justice prosecutor in her own California.
“I want to refocus the discussion on the flawed criminal justice system, which disproportionately harms Black and Brown people in our nation today. Gabbard stated at the time, “Now Senator Harris claims she’s proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she’ll be a prosecutor president.”
But this record worries me a great deal. She locked up over 1,500 people for marijuana offenses—there are far too many to list—and laughed about it when asked if she had ever smoked marijuana. Until the courts compelled her to do so, she suppressed information that might have released an innocent man from death row. She kept inmates behind bars after their terms ended in order to supply the state of California with inexpensive labor.
Following that debate, Harris’s popularity fell, and in December 2019, she finally withdrew from the primary.
