JD Vance Slams Harris Interview Claims
Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance slammed some of Vice President Kamala Harris’s responses during her CNN interview, stating on Friday morning that “it’s bizarre” for her to claim she still holds the same values despite altering her policy positions.
Vance shared his thoughts with the hosts of “Fox & Friends” just hours after Harris participated in her first major interview since becoming the Democrats’ de facto nominee over a month ago. When asked about Harris’s statement to CNN anchor Dana Bash that her “values have not changed,” Vance advised voters “not to buy” her assertion.
“It’s pretty bizarre, right? So if you have the same values why have you changed your mind on literally every topic that you previously held an opinion on?” Vance asked. “But I think it’s important for us not to buy this. If you look at the way Kamala Harris has governed, she’s actually governed as a far-Left person.”

Vance insisted that the vice president is only pretending because she wants to win in November.
“She’s just trying to pretend that she’s not far-Left now because, of course, she wants to win the American people’s votes in the next couple months,” Vance added. “But if she does, she’s going to do the same thing she’s been doing for the last few years. She’s going to try to make it harder to get American energy from American territory. She’s going to make it harder for us to drive down the cost of everything from food to housing. She’s going to make it harder for us to enforce our border laws. And she’s going to make more chaos and more instability around the world.”
During her Thursday night pre-recorded interview, Harris was asked how voters should look at some of the changes that she made.
“I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed,” Harris said. “We have set goals for the United States of America and, by extension, the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed.”
