Scaramucci Makes Wild Claims Against Trump

On Thursday, during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” former Trump administration communications director Anthony Scaramucci falsely stated that former President Donald Trump’s remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris being “dumb” are a “sign of his racism.”

“If he starts saying his crowds are bigger than Taylor Swift’s, then you know we’re in real psychotic territory. I know him very well. He’s very upset. He spent the last couple of days socializing ideas about campaign changes and strategy, which is why he’s not moving around the country. He then went to his staff and said, let me show you how it’s done,” Scaramucci said. “I’m the big alpha male narcissistic dog, let me get out there and do some crazy Fidel Castro stuff for a couple of hours. I just want to say this, he called the Vice President dumb at least four times today, and that is a sign of his racism. She’s an incredibly qualified person. If you look at her credentials and you look at who she is as a human being, it is absolutely absurd that he’s calling her that. And people need to call him on that and hand check him on something like that.”

Trump recently criticized Harris for her failed 2020 campaign. The former president labeled Harris the “first loser” because she had zero votes from Democratic delegates in 2020 and was the first candidate to drop out.

“She was the first loser. OK, so — We call her the ‘first loser.’  She was the first loser when, during the primary system, during the Democrat primary system. She was the first one to quit. And she quit. She had no votes, no support, and she was a bad debater, by the way. Very bad debater. And that’s not the thing I’m looking forward to, but she was a bad debater. She did, obviously did a bad job. She never made it to Iowa. Then, for some reason, and I know he regrets it — you do, too — he picked her, and she turned on him, too. She was working with the people that wanted him out.”
