Trump Reveals Revenge Plans After Hush Money Trial Conviction

Former President Donald Trump is committed to getting the ultimate revenge on his political adversaries after his criminal conviction from Manhattan. Speaking on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday, he revealed that he will do all he can to beat President Joe Biden in the November election and become president.

“My revenge will be success,” he said in the exclusive sit-down interview.

“These are bad people. These people are sick, and they do things that are so destructive… if it weren’t me, they’d be going after somebody else, and I know a lot of the competition. They wouldn’t do so well,” he added.

Trump’s resolve comes after he was found guilty by a Manhattan jury of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments as part of an effort to influence the 2016 election.

The verdict, which came in on Thursday, has been kicked against by Trump, who called it “a disgrace” and has promised to appeal.

Slamming the entire case as “a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt,” the Republican presidential candidate said, “It’s a rigged trial, a disgrace. They wouldn’t give us a venue change. We were at 5% or 6% in this district, in this area. This was a rigged, disgraceful trial. The real verdict is going to be November 5 by the people. And they know what happened here. And everybody knows what happened here. You have a Soros-backed D.A. and the whole thing, we didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent. And I think it’s a just a disgrace. And we’ll keep fighting. We’ll fight till the end, and we’ll win because our country has gone to hell,” he added.

Many conservatives have also spoken out in support of the president, with many of his former Republican presidential primary rivals condemning the verdict.

One of the most supportive have been Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who argued that the ruling “represents the culmination of a legal process that has been bent to the political will of the actors involved: a leftist prosecutor, a partisan judge and a jury reflective of one of the most liberal enclaves in America — all in an effort to ‘get’ Donald Trump.”

“That this case — involving alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago — was even brought is a testament to the political debasement of the justice system in places like New York City. This is especially true considering this same district attorney routinely excuses criminal conduct in a way that has endangered law-abiding citizens in his jurisdiction,” DeSantis added in a jab at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who brought up the case against Trump.

After Democrats and left-wing advocates made claims that Trump would not be allowed to vote for himself in Florida in an effort to mock the GOP presumptive nominee, DeSantis stepped in to clarify. According to the Florida governor Trump’s right to vote in his state is still intact.
