Biden Blasts Trump, MAGA Republicans, Putin At Fundraiser

In one fell swoop, President Joe Biden blasted former President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and MAGA Republicans during a private fundraiser in San Francisco on Wednesday night.

Taking a swipe at Trump, Biden condemned him for comparing his legal troubles to the prosecution of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny who died last week in an Arctic prison.

“Some of the things that this fellow’s been saying, like he’s comparing himself to Navalny and saying that — because our country’s become a communist country, he was persecuted, just like Navalny was persecuted. I don’t know where the hell this comes from,” he said, adding, “I mean, if I stood here 10, 15 years ago and said any of this, you’d all think I should be committed. It astounds me.”

Turning to Trump’s supporters, he said, “I’ve been around a long time and I’ve never quite seen a crowd like this MAGA Republican crowd. They seem to have very little moral compass on what is important to people.”

He also called the GOP out for what he calls a “lost” moral center which he says the party used to have.

His swipe on Putin came when he was talking about climate change.

“This is the last existential threat, it is climate. We have a crazy SOB like that guy Putin, and others, and we always have to worry about nuclear conflict, but the existential threat to humanity is climate,” he stated.

While a good portion of his roughly 16 minutes speech was used to shell out snide remarks, Biden had good words for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who he called his “boss” and the “best Speaker of the House.”

“She is the best Speaker of the House I think there has ever been. Thank God she was mostly on our side,” he stated.
