Bob Casey, Biden Hit Over Proposal To Resettle Palestinians In America

President Joe Biden was slammed alongside Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) over a proposal for the Biden administration to accept some Palestinians into the United States as refugees.

An ad by the Republican challenger for Casey’s Senate position, Dave McCormick, slammed the Democrat senator and President Joe Biden for the proposal which seeks to allow Palestinians in Egypt who have immediate family members with permanent residence in the U.S. to migrate into the country.

The 3-second ad titled “Bob Casey is too Dangerous for Pennsylvania” called the resettlement plan “crazy.”

“The countries next door to Gaza say it’s not worth the risk, but Biden wants to bring them here,” the ad stated, adding, “What has Bob Casey done to stop it? Bob Casey votes with Joe Biden 98% of the time, and he refuses to stand up to Biden even when Pennsylvanians are at risk. Bob Casey is too dangerous for Pennsylvania.”

According to polling, the terrorist group Hamas has the approval of several Palestinians, as polling from the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research released in March found that 71% of all Palestinians support Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, in which about 1,200 people were killed in Israel and hundreds were taken hostage. This level of support shows an increase in support for the terrorist group among Palestinians since the Oct. 7 attacks.

In a statement to The Daily Wire, McCormick pointed out the ludicrousness of the plan to resettle Palestinians in the U.S.

“71% of Palestinians think Hamas’s terrorist attacks on October 7 were justified, and yet Joe Biden is planning to invite Gazans to make a home in America. Bob Casey, who votes with Biden 98% of the time, has been completely silent. Pennsylvanians are desperate for leaders who will put their safety and the safety of their children first. Instead, they have an empty suit,” he said.
