Son of Hamas Founder Calls For Removal Of Terror Group
In a passionate segment on Piers Morgan’s talk show, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas’ founder, expressed his strong condemnation of the terrorist organization and its actions, laying the blame for civilian casualties squarely on Hamas.
Yousef, who was once aligned with Hamas, spoke of his transformation from a Hamas insider to an Israel supporter. He highlighted Hamas’ longstanding goal of annihilating Israel, making it clear that the group does not recognize Israel’s right to exist.
The turning point for Yousef was his time spent in Israeli prisons, where he witnessed Hamas’ brutality against its own members. This experience raised questions about what Hamas might do if they gained power, and later events confirmed his fears.
He expressed shock at Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel, where over 1,400 people were slaughtered, including dozens of American citizens. Yousef emphasized the terrorist group’s disregard for Palestinian children and civilians, who are just seen as tools to further the group’s ideological and religious agendas.
He went on to place the responsibility for civilian deaths firmly on Hamas and criticized pro-Palestinian activists who support the “criminal” Hamas movement. He praised Israel for its efforts to minimize civilian casualties during conflicts.

Calling Hamas’ cause “sick,” Yousef insisted that they must be removed from power to prevent future conflicts. “This is my message as an ex-Hamas member, as a son of one of Hamas’ founders: enough of this. If we don’t stop them now, the next war is going to be deadlier, and only God knows what will happen next if Hamas is not finished as soon as possible,” he stated.
According to him, once Hamas is gone, Palestinians will celebrate and thank Israel for their liberation from oppression.
Regarding achieving peace, Yousef reluctantly concluded that war might be the only way to peace if Hamas remains in power. He stressed that the use of force is a last resort, but Hamas is leaving no other option.
In the end, Yousef, who has previously called out the mainstream media for being “too afraid” to call Hamas the terrorists they are, urged people to stop supporting Hamas and focus on the true needs of the Palestinian people, which include education, security, and a better life.
“Those who are using what [is] so called the Palestinian cause, they care the least for the Palestinian children and their future,” he asserted.
He also warned that those supporting Hamas may eventually regret their stance as he predicted the removal of the group from power. As he warned, “Hamas did not only bring the wrath of Israel over Gaza, Hamas brought the wrath of God.”
Yousef’s statements come after he said Hamas is “a lot more dangerous” than ISIS.
