Teen Rapper Kills Himself By Accident During Livestream

A teenage rapper known as Rylo Huncho shot himself in the head during a livestream. According to police, the shot appeared to be an accident, as officials ruled that he died from an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the head.

The 17-year-old whose real name is reportedly Raleigh Freeman III, was found dead on May 15 in Suffolk, Virginia, per The Mirror.

Footage of the incident making rounds on social media shows Huncho singing into a camera while he danced with a pistol that had a green laser sight. The last seconds of the video showed the young rapper switching off the gun’s safety and pointing it at his head.

As he did that, he said, “Fuck y’all, nigga” and a gunshot rang out, causing his head to be violently thrown from view as the camera dropped.

A GoFundMe was set up for Huncho’s mother the next day. In an explanation that came with the account, a cousin of the deceased rapper explained that Huncho was the mother’s only son.

“She was a single parent but took care of her son the best she could,” the cousin wrote, adding, “Suicide/accidental was the cause of his death we are still trying to figure out why. But anything I mean anything can help her at this time of need. He was her only child she was also an only child it was always her and her son. Anything can help !”

“Please keep my family in your prayers. In addition, her nephew inlaw (Richard Patterson) and I (Diane Bryant) (niece) and other family members appreciate everything.” the GoFundMe page also read.

As of the time of this reporting, the fundraising efforts have generated just over $5,000 of the $15,000 goal.
