Taylor Swift Faces Backlash Amid Biden Endorsement Speculations

Amid fears that Influential pop star Taylor Swift’s popularity could metamorphose into a political force, conservative media pundits have taken a defensive position with all eyes on the singer. This comes after a report on Monday by the New York Times, which indicated that President Joe Biden’s campaign is looking to benefit from the singer’s increasing influence through an endorsement.

On Tuesday, Fox News host Sean Hannity urged her to “think twice” before diving into an endorsement of Biden’s reelection campaign. “As the Biden campaign apparently tries to come up with some way to get Taylor Swift’s endorsement, now we have to ask, does Taylor know who she is getting involved with here?” he asked.

“Does Taylor realize the guy that they want her to endorse is a kind of stumbling, bumbling mess, doesn’t have the energy to even give a 30-minute speech, let alone perform a three-hour concert like she does? He also is kind of very creepy. She may want to check out those creepy videos, they’re online,” the talk show host added.

Fox News commentator and “OutKick” host, Tomi Lahren also said on Monday that the singer is better off skipping endorsements and sticking to her singing.

Former presidential candidate also took to X on Monday to raise the possibility of “a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall.”

“Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months,” he wrote further.

Swift’s dislike of former President Donald Trump is not secret, as she denounced him in a 2020 tweet, accusing him of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism.”

Trump, however, does not appear to be concerned as he reportedly told people around him that he does not believe her influence would be of much help to Biden.

According to sources close to the GOP presidential candidate, he also said that he is “more popular” than Swift, whose fans he believes are less committed than his.
